A one day course in the legal requirements, safe operation and Health & Safety regulations applicable to crane lifting, satisfying both the LOLER and PUWER Acts.
Who will benefit?:
Personnel tasked with slinging of loads and signalling of mobile/static cranes.

Aims of Training:
To ensure delegates know the legal requirements and company procedure in regards to crane lifting operations.
To ensure delegates can plan crane lifting operations safely, select the correct lifting equipment for the task, use the equipment in a safe and correct manner and guide crane operations by both hand and radio
To ensure delegates are able to:
- Understand health & safety legislation applicable to lifting operations
- Plan the Lift
- Understand the risks of Lifting Operations and identifying unsafe practices
- Demonstrate the correct use of hand and radio signals
- Understand the safe and correct method of slinging loads and correct use of equipment
Maximum Number of Delegates:
4 per course.
Client to provide: Training room to comfortably accommodate all the delegates with 240V power supply. Access to a fully operational crane and sufficient space to carry out training and/or assessment
Trainer to provide: Training Equipment (course notes and presentation package)
